Week of August 16
HAVING PEOPLE ON OUR HEARTS
A few weeks ago we enjoyed a rich picture of shepherding from the story of Elisha healing the Shunamite's boy. We felt it would be good to revisit the matter of shepherding, but specifically, the first step: having people in your heart. Last week, we used the apostle Paul as an example of someone with a heart full of people. This week we will continue in the matter of having people on our heart using the Old Testament picture of the high priest’s shoulder pieces and breastpiece. May we also allow the Spirit to write many people on our hearts!
