ELIJAH and ELISHA

Over the Memorial Day weekend we focused our attention on two Old Testament prophets, Elijah and Elisha. Elijah stood for the testimony of the Lord in a degraded, idol-worshipping environment by declaring, “Jehovah is God!” His “successor,” Elisha, had a ministry of grace by declaring that God is salvation. We’ll spend the next several weeks reviewing the contents of the messages regarding these two prophets.
