My high school experience has been a very enjoyable time, but at the same time a very difficult stage of my life. At school I had to continually decide whether I wanted to go to parties or attend meetings on the weekends. I had to make this decision every single time my friends asked me to go out with them. As a result of choosing the Lord I lost a lot of friends, but I also gained so much of the Lord. The Lord has shown me that choosing him is not an easy path, but rather a continual, day by day struggle.

Looking back I now realize how different I was in ninth grade, and how much of Christ I gained through the years. I thank the Lord that He has put me in a loving family who loves the Lord. I am also grateful that I was fortunate enough to grow up with nine other high school sisters who were also seeking the Lord. Whenever I was feeling cold towards the Lord they were always such a supply to me, and helped me through my rough times. I pray that through my college years I would continue to choose Him each day and come to know Him even more.
