"And let us consider one another so as to incite one another to love and good works, not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom with some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24, 25

(Debbie's notes from Lord's Day, July 11, 2010)

Here are a few words from many who were touched at the vision week training:

John B.
2 focal points: 1 - Gods view 2 - Man's vision

Our view needs to match Gods view; for this He has given us a spirit of wisdom and revelation for God is Spirit.

God has His will from eternity past and His Purpose will be revealed at the end of what we experience as time, in which is His economy.

Illustration: (God's Will) <--------(time)-------His economy-------(time)-------->(God's Purpose)

It seems that His purpose is to have a richer and larger expression, which He will gain through the church- the called out ones (those who share His divine nature).

Eph 1:22 And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over all things for the church.

8 aspects of the church 1- the called out ones 2-the Body of Christ 3-Masterpiece 4-New Man 5- Fellow citizens 6- Household of God 7- Temple of God 8- Dwelling place of God in Spirit.

The burden for the young people is serious - they have 3 major decisions College, marriage, where to live.

We need to have this realization, what constitutes us? what is our existence? Titus shared that in the 70's in China there was little food and clothing, people didn't know from day to day how they would survive. they got up in the morning and did all they had to do just to survive. There was no time to be depressed. Here today we have people moaning and groaning and depressed. depression is a wealthy illness. This is serious, we should not play games with the Lord. We should be serious with the Lord about our life and existence. We mean business one day or one minute and fall away the next. Maybe we can't be about His business all the time, but I believe we can. God is doing something today. We need to be given more to what the Lord is doing.

The called out ones, we have been called out into a different realm. We have been called out of the natural realm into Gods spiritual realm.
Eph 1:22 God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over all things to the church. We have been called into a heavenly realm.

Touched that there are many who have learned the importance of Gods call. Specifically one brother who stood up to share a testimony and broke down. This brother had not just one, but many bad situations that he has had to go thru. One of any of them would destroy most. He was able to do something very difficult and was supplied by God. We don't need to be pretentious, we need to just be real.

Eph 1:18 ....that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. We think of a calling of God , like being a missionary somewhere, or serving in some capacity. Our calling is His virtues and attributes - light, life, power, love, righteous, patience, kindness, faithful. A good illustration being that of a family A father with 5 kids. one son very intelligent, because the father is intelligent, one very sweet , one very active and capable. This shows something of the father is wrought into each one of them. If you look at a father and his children and his grandchildren you will certainly see that this is his glory and his inheritance.

Reading in the life study about the Father's virtues being wrought into us. We can ask the Lord, "Lord how much of You is in me?"

We think we are busy, I thought I was very busy and have a busy schedule this summer. this is Titus 4th week of training, I was convicted that I am not really that busy.

God has a view and a purpose through His economy. The training is not about knowledge, helping you to know more, but is the touching of your person. What touched you? The young ones are being touched. They are not separate but they are of us. We can try to hide but the Lord has a way to speak to us. As one sister came away from one evening and said she knows God is speaking to her, this is how she was touched. Gods purpose, His masterpiece we are His written poem. I want to open myself to you Lord to mold me and make me.

Gods desire is eternal. He will get what He desires. Time is for eternity. All He created in time is for eternity, not for time. In time we get distracted by all kinds of things, but time is not for time. How we use our time is how we will be in eternity. We may have regrets when we are in eternity. He wants to gain us in time for eternity. We need to take care of our time, for eternity. I think we all have human regrets. A couple of examples, when my mother was on her death bed she said she wished she had a pastor. I knew she didn't need a pastor, but I regret not taking the time to be what she really was asking for. Someone to just listen to her, share what was on her heart, who would pray and bring her into the comfort of the Lord. Later on with my father, I regret that I did not usher him into the Lords presence and comfort.

We all have human regrets. The Lord wants all, every minute in time for eternity. Time is to take care of all to become Gods glory and inheritance. If not you will have a human life full of regrets.

How did you come to the meeting this morning -- a few minutes early and exercised in our spirit? How do we come -- with eternity in view or just in ourselves? What God is after is NOT in our natural realm. We need to come exercised in our spirit with eternity in view. How do we use our time? Young people, age 13, don't think you are too young, you may have 70 or 80 or so years ahead of you, but you can't go back and change anything. Use your time, don't waste time on the temporary things. You can look at the Cavs and the idol of the city for seven years, now he is gone. In a flash all that you spent time, money and energy on is over in a flash! Will I have regrets in eternity? Probably. What is our idol? Will you be a church goer or have a church life the whole week? Our meetings are to express our living, everyday. The expression of our daily life is what our meetings are for. Will we be satisfied or have regrets? How do we live our daily life? This week when we touch the Lord, pray "Lord take more to my time, I want more of You."

Ken G.
Ephesians is the view of the church. Our daily life depends on our view. A low view ( a human view) will be full of regrets. Humans are limited, I need to take care of my view of the church. My time will be effected by my view. Pray: To experience Gods view. Our life to be an expression of Gods view. Lord, uplift my view!!

Mike P.
Take a look at this illustration as a time line. Where are we on this line? I believe we are closer to the end. We may be the last generation. How many years do we have? We are called out, God called Jacob out, he wrestled with God and God won. We are called out and God wins.

One sentence touched her, God doesn't want doers , he wants to bless. Being with the young people was wonderful, they were so helpful, polite, and all so caring.

Jim F.
Captured and conquered. We are all captured but we are not all conquered. When you are captured, you still have a fight in you, you can still escape there is still a chance to change the outcome. When you are conquered, the fight is over, you give up the fight. At Pentecost they asked what should we do. Judaism was over -now what?

Leona
1 we are saved and begin to love the body and the church. 2 then we become consecrated and become enriched, and have someone you can deeply trust. 3 captured, to teach, shepherd and evangelize. Bring in new people. 4 Unto a prophet or apostle to teach, shepherd and evangelize. Christ's 2nd coming -- we become the bride.

Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Being perfected and perfecting --- A healthy church life!!!
